I Have NO Taste
Well actually I have pretty decent taste .. I just have no decorating sense! I spent most of yesterday moving furniture around in the living room. We've lived in this house for a year now and I still can't figure out how to put our few measley pieces together in a way that is even remotely attractive. The best way to describe my attemps was done by Douglas Adams when he described Arthur Dent's house as "almost but not completely failing to please the eye". *sigh* And of course Hubby's no help .. as per him "it looks nice". Well bloody hell man, that's of no help if you say that to pretty much every configuration my brain can come up with! LOL Can you tell I'm frustrated?

I feel your pain Anya. May I suggest a marathon of HGTV to help you lol.
LOL ... Yeah, I've tried that, but it almost seems like a genetic disorder ... I got my Dad's decorating sense instead of my Moms LOL But I'll gladly watch more and more and more! I love HGTV :)
Defintely watch more HGTV...of course I do and still hate the way I decorate. I want an unlimited budget and an interior decorator to make it all homey and nice. lol

I've given up on decorating. It costs money that I don't have...I take bets to see which piece of furniture gets the next worn out hole in it. LOL
Yeah, my couch is pretty much riddled with holes *sigh* hubby and I are horrible decision makers so even deciding WHEN to go out shopping for the new couch (which we can't decide on either .. I want a love seat and he wants a full couch) is a nachtmare :lol
